Welcome to the Elective Program
    For International Medical Students, Elective Program Only     Please submit your application 3 months earlier your plan to come.

Step 1. Please mail or submit by e-mail the following to our office.
    * Application form (download)
    * 2 Passport photo size 2”x2”
    * A recommendation letter
    * $300 USD Application Fee

Step 2. We will send you the acceptant letter Take about 1-2 months for process.

Step 3. In order to apply for your Visa (Tourist Visa),
* TOURIST VISA EXEMPTION will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period of not exceeding 30 days on each visit. Go to the website below. http://www.mfa.go.th
* If you want to stay in Thailand more than 30 days you have to apply the Tourist Visa. Make Appointment with Thai Embassy: You will need to get a Tourist Visa. Take these documents with you to your appointment:
    1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
    2. Visa application form completely filled out
    3. Recent (4 x 6 cm.) photograph of the applicant
    4. Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full)     5. Evidence of adequate finance (10,000 Baht per person and 20,000 Baht per family)
    6. Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary
    7. Visa fee: 1,000 Baht per entry (Visa fee may be changed without prior notice)

Step 4. Prepare to come to Thailand.
* Find Housing:
    1. On-Campus Housing (Lingee Kittikachorn Dormitory)
        - Guest Housing Services
        - Housekeeping Policy
        - Download Form
        - Check room Available
    2. Hotels
Remember, there is no emergency housing - so plan early!

Step 5. Welcome to Thailand!
* Arrive Suvarnabhumi International Airport – We will provide a car to pick you up at the airport.

Step 6. Welcome to the Elective Program!
* Come to the office of International Relations at 10th floor To meet with your supervisor at 0900 a.m. The Thailand Immigration Service requires you to come on this day. If you have an emergency, please call us immediately.
You will need to bring:
    1. Cash for tuition fee and Accommodation fee
    2. Your passport
